About the plant: Calatheas are notorious for being drama queens, but their foliage is so beautiful that it's worth it. The orbifolia was the first calathea that caught my eye, with those smooth, textured green and and white leaves. While these bubbas can be difficult to care for, I promise that they're worth a try (and I can help you!)
Calatheas grow naturally in humid, South American jungles. As a result, they require a humid environment (~70 AH or higher), and I find that using a humidifier is the best way to keep them healthy. If you're using tap water - make sure to leave water out over night so the chemicals can burn off.
You got this, I promise!

- Light: Bright, indirect
- Soil: Well-draining
- Pets: Non-toxic
